This superbly detailed, half model of the pride of the French Line is recreated in a magnificent three-dimensional cutaway half model. The engineering interest by the artist has obviously given these beautiful wooden models a level of technical detail not seen before.
Each cutaway model is drawn to an absolute scale using original blueprints, photographs, etc. to maintain the highest level of accuracy. The Normandie is framed in hand-rubbed mahogany that is varnish to a medium lustre and the ship is exquisitely set off by a dark blue matte.
The famous French liner will be a treasured addition for the discerning collector. Measures 22 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.
