It is fortunate some of the medical staff took snapshots illustrating humor, tedium, danger and death while in wartime service on a hospital ship. Rare Britannic photographs.

The Engelhardt Collapsible Lifeboat, the company’s latest catalogue. A unique and useful reproduction of a book produced for the Engelhardt Collapsible Lifeboat Company circa 1907 that describes in text and illustration the boat’s practicality, utility and nearly indestructability.

Tribute to Arpad Lengyel, Carpathia’s Doctor by Kalman Tanito. A Memorial dedication that took place recently in his hometown.

Marion Kellogg’s Marvelous Model by Karen Kamuda. A scale model of the reciprocating engine that powered the Olympic-class liner, Mr. Kellogg’s love of the great ships can be seen in this working scale model of Titanic’s massive reciprocating engines which he kindly donated to the Titanic Museum.

Tales From the Titanic Museum; S.S. Atlantic by Charles Allen. Mr. Allen was a fortunate survivor who wrote about his harrowing experiences in a little self-published book, which is reproduced in its entirety including his photograph.

Front Cover: This wonderful photograph of an unknown nurse who is poking her head through one of HMHS Britannic’s sidelights is one of the fascinating snapshots that chronicle the former White Star liner’s wartime service in Vivian Prideaux’s collection. Prideaux was a patient on board who lived in London and was returning home on her in October 1916. We tried to locate the place on her hull; it appears that she is at the top of the second painted red cross between the second and third funnel. Vivian F. Prideaux/THS Collection.
