Description

This is the official booklet printed for the launch of “Number 534” that became the Queen Mary. Included in the text is John Masefield’s tribute: “Number 534” Photographs of King George V, Queen Mary, the Prince of Wales, other officials, a two page spread illustration of “An Overpowering Impression Of Immensity” (the ship on the ways), several full pages photographs of the launch and a background text titled “Masterpiece in the Making.” which is the story of the ship.

A faithful reproduction of the 30 page, very rare Cunard White Star booklet of the launch of the Queen Mary at the John Brown shipyard.
