OLYMPIC
Accommodation Plans for First Class showing Decks A-B-C-D-E-F
Considering that at the time of her construction, Olympic represented a huge milestone in marine engineering. She was the first liner ever to exceed the 40,000-ton mark and at the time she entered service, boasted furnishings and facilities that left her in a class of her own. She was quite literally the shape of things to come as competing shipping lines immediately set about matching her in terms of size and opulence.
Olympic was the only one of her two other sisters, Titanic and Britannic, to survive their ill-fortune becoming a very successful ship with a long service, 1911-1934, and one of the best loved liners in history.
This handsome accommodation plan looks great framed. A remarkable reference to a remarkable ship, Olympic, The Old Reliable!
