Boston – New York Service
The introduction of Cabin Class by the White Star Line came about with the rise of leisure travel in the 1920s to accommodate passengers of modest means. Adriatic, Baltic and Cedric were refurbished and redecorated to bring them up to date. This interesting 16-page book of photographs produced for the White Star Line is a faithful reproduction from an original in the THS collection and illustrates the splendid rooms and amenities on board these three giant steamers in the Boston service. Also Britannic (III), White Star’s newest 27,000-ton liner about ready to enter service is also featured.
