The White Star Line flag (also called a swallow-tailed burgee) that this faithful reproduction was manufactured, was copied from one that actually flew atop the mast of the famous transatlantic liner, Queen Elizabeth when she was in service in the Cunard/White Star Line and docked in Florida. A THS member who was a docent onboard saved the flag as it was discarded in a rag pile!
This historic original regulation size White Star flag is displayed in the Titanic Museum. Its specifications were measured and duplicated right down to the seams and reinforcement strip with sturdy grommets. The flag is custom made for the Titanic Historical Society. This is not a cheap foreign synthetic knockoff. The white star is organic cotton and sewn on both sides, not silk screened. Flag material is organic cotton blend from the USA so it can be flown outside. This flag is a quality reproduction that you will be pleased to display inside or outside.
Regulation size measures approximately 36 X 72 inches.
